Brady Novotny is a professional counselor currently working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Brady graduated with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Additionally, he has done post-graduate work specializing in Sex Therapy, Sexual Addiction, and Gambling Addiction. He has also had experience working as a drug and alcohol counselor at Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center; here, he worked with addictions and co-occurring disorders. While at Irene Stacy, Brady served on the Center’s Wellness committee, promoting healthy habits and behaviors for the center’s employees. He believes that there is hope for everyone, and he has seen many lives transformed while under his care.
Brady states: "The relationship between therapist and client is of the utmost importance throughout the therapy process. As your therapist, I bring myself fully to our interactions. As your therapist, I listen with a compassionate heart to what you tell me, but I also pay attention to how you tell me. I strongly believe in the transformative process that occurs through therapy."
Brady uses an eclectic approach to therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
